I'm not convinced that this pattern should have a border

Especially since 3070bp0l has no border. imho they should have the same border policy (said the consistency maniac ;) )

I think the patter can be rounded to 3 or 4 decimals.

Yes, to many decimals

I haven't decided yet what I think about this trend with patterns printed right up to the edge of parts.....

Decimal places reduced.

I have both this part and the pure rainbow one. Close examination has the pattern going all the way to the rounded part of the brick. There is a small gap but it's only noticeable (to me) under zoom.

..it is strange ... if we simply omit the curves on the edges of the components ... to simplify ....
the patterns should at least be drawn in a bit visually ...

In my own components I had to feel crowded enough, contrary to my conviction to draw the respective patterns up to the edges ....

I think this is generally wrong ... because it simply does not correspond to reality ...

Why do you think this is Bright Light Yellow:

I must say I'm less sure now. The tiles I have (including this rainbow one https://www.ldraw.org/cgi-bin/ptdetail.cgi?f=parts/98138p0t.dat) all use Bright Light Yellow, not plain yellow. But since 41900 "rainbow" set uses plain yellow round corner tiles (https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=41900-1), plain yellow makes sense for rainbow tiles too.
