As discussed on the forums, the battery should probably be of maximum size. However, such a battery seems to close 54389's circuit even with no tension. So maybe there should be a variant for the maximum size? I already have it modeled.

All batteries should most probably bebtitled like 3rd party parts, right?

can you use a cone primitive on the underside instead of quads?
with primitive substitution enabled, this part could be look better
on the underside

Used cone primitives
Adjusted the pattern so that it works in hi-res mode. It could be further resuced if a few vertices are removed.
