Which quads do you mean in this part? The top with the 8 studs? I divided the whole quad to avoid T-Junctions...

Finally found the duplicated surfaces...
Added missing edge in s02 and merged divided surfaces.
Also merged 2 surfaces on the underside of the dome. This made the condline unnecessary, didn't it?

Missing condlines on the underside of the dome.

This line was meant to show which surface need a set of condlines.
Like the top surface, the underside of the dome should also have a set of condlines.
Place them in the s02-file.

And I'm still not sure, whether I should inline 1 4 40 3 0 1 0 0 0 -1.25 0 0 0 1 stud4a.dat and shift 2 4 40 3 8 40 1 8 to something like 2 4 35,6 3 6,48 35,6 1 6,48 to make the shape more like the original file...

I don't have the part, but if I look at it in LDD, I think I can see what you mean. The underside of the dome is not correct.
I don't see how a 48-prim could be used here, but a reshape of the dome using a 48-prim as a reference, might be a good idea.

Don't inline the stud4a. Connection seeking software can't find a inlines understud.

If I were to revork this file, I'd start with something like this:

I already thought about rotating a ndis, but - call me fussy - I don't like that some vertices doesn't match (e.g. 40.00006012 3 8,00020158 and 40 3 8 [by adding 1 4 40 3 0 1 0 0 0 -1.25 0 0 0 1 stud4a.dat]). On the other hand there would be gaps at 2 4 36.938 3 7.391 34.3432 3 5.6568, when the stud4a goes to hi-res, wouldn't it?

How do you like the top side of the dome? If you like it, I would start to adapt the pattern.

How about this?

I replaced most hi-res prims with the stud again. The gaps are now at low-res; at hi-res the quads align against each other.
