T-junctions should be removed.
The short end could be made using a 2-5box primitive

I used a box4-7a prim instead

I would have preferred a 2-5box primitive. Less triangles.

Fixed BFC error and used a box2-5 instead of box4-7a but I'd like to understand how can I know the number of triangles is lower...

Can these
4 16 20 0 10 20 8 10 -19 8 10 -19 7 10
3 16 20 0 10 -19 7 10 -19 0 10
4 16 -20 0 10 -19 0 10 -19 7 10 -20 7 10

Be replaced by this? Would avoid a TJ along an edge (needs to be done twice, left and right)
4 16 20 0 10 20 8 10 -19 8 10 -19 7 10
3 16 20 0 10 -19 7 10 -20 0 10

Yes,
by using a box2-5 insted of a box4-7 here, one vertex becomes not needed and can be eliminated like Gerald is showing.
Look at the bottom left corner of the LDPE window. It will show the selected number of different objects in your design.

Every mesh is made of triangles, but we simplify and use also quads. 1 quad = 2 triangles
In this case: 2 quads + 1 triangle = 2x2+1 = 5 triangles
From Gerald: 1 quad + 2 triangles = 1x2+2 = 4 triangles

In this case, you can reduce it even further into 2 quads
4 12 20 0 10 20 8 10 -19 8 10 -19 7 10
4 12 20 0 10 -19 7 10 -20 7 10 -20 0 10
