In an initial phase I would like to talk only about the graphic aspect and the dimensions of the decorations.
Surely there will be errors of realization, but at least at the beginning it is useless to check that all the triangles are correctly connected for 0.0001 if then it is necessary to move a line of 1 or more unit.

Wow.
I only have one of these. This one. It looks very good, at a first glance, but is very wrong
when I start measuring.
The uncolored square around the studs should be 44x24 ldu.
The yellow banner should be moved 10 ldu forward. And be 15 ldu high.
The red A-pillars should also be 10 ldu longer, and not have a curved ending pointing towards the middle.
The Italian flag and Ferrari text is too narrow. Should be 64 ldu wide.

Now the pattern is almost as definitive.

The position of the pattern is OK, but it needs a good clean up untill I can certify this one.
To many vertices inside flat surfaces. (And I don't mind the very detaild horse logos).

Overlapping/unmatched surfaces:
4 5 31.736 14.016 -73.264 28.284 24 -98.284 31.736 24 -94.352 34.64 14.016 -70
4 5 -31.736 24 -94.352 -28.284 24 -98.284 -31.736 14.016 -73.264 -34.64 14.016 -70
3 12 28.284 6.528 -54.142 24.4642 6.528 -55.8187 24.52 6.55208 -55.868

I can see some T-junction along the red A-pillars.

...all important facts are already described by Magnus

also some warnings "near coplanarity"

I eliminated some useless vertex and joined some faces, based on the notes made.

I send to Chris a new version of the reference part, because I moved the conditional lines from the main part to the subpart as is being done elsewhere (43898, 65633).
This allows to reduce the dimensions of the patterned parts and the possibility of errors.
On this occasion I also made some small changes (cancellation of some conditiona lines) that were incorrect in LDPE.
some error indications in the printed parts were due to the conditional lines of the reference part which were in excess and had been copied as they were.

Two triangles hidden behind these quads:

and here:
3 0 27.6378 2.318968 -35.8099 27.6595 2.321202 -35.8154 27.66529 2.321509 -35.81554
4 14 27.6378 2.318968 -35.8099 27.6595 2.321202 -35.8154 27.66529 2.321509 -35.81554 27.68067 2.301978 -35.72244

I think you should remove the "Need work" comment, from all of these parts. Thats how most patterned parts are made.
The question is rather, Did you use an image taken perpendicular to the top surface?

Corrected the overlapping surfaces.
The image in the y direction that I used is the one you sent me.
