Per the LDraw.org Bylaws, Subsection 6.03(a), the 2006/2007 Steering Committee hereby calls for the community to nominate individuals as candidates for the 2007/2008 Steering Committee[1].

With a total of 12 voters who "agreed" and none who "disagreed", the Motion to move the LSC elections is hereby ratified.

Since the Motion to move the LSC elections has been posted and publicly discussed at
LUGNET, and since by peoples' silence, there appear to be no more lingering objections, the
Steering Committee hereby calls for a community vote to ratify the motion which shifts the
LDraw Standards Committee (LSC) elections from July to October by modifying the
LSC Final Draft (The full text of the proposed changes can be found at the ballot page).

Ratification of the LSC motion


Only LDraw organization members may cast one vote in the poll. The poll will conclude
at 2359 EDT (GMT -0500), October 31, 2006 and the result will be announced shortly
thereafter.

The development of LDD and Lego Factory have produced an alternate brick
CAD system to the LDraw system. It is the position of the LDraw Organisation
that development of the LDraw system will continue alongside and as much as
possible work with LDD and that LDD should not be considered a replacement
for the LDraw system (including editors such as MLCad and LeoCAD, the parts
library and other associated software).
