How can I export LDraw files to other 3D formats?

The Software Downloads database, under the "3D Format Converters" category, lists a number of tools you can use to convert LDraw files to other 3D formats.

In the LDraw file format, rotation matrices are used to define the angle of the parts. Where can I find a good tutorial on the basics of matrix math and how it is applied in LDraw?

LDraw.org will soon publish a matrix tutorial. Until then here's a link to a good reference:
